Job description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented eCommerce Data & Marketplace Administrator to manage how our product catalog, inventory, and orders show up across Amazon, Walmart, and other online marketplaces. You’ll work daily in Fishbowl Inventory and Fishbowl Commerce, our marketplace connector, making sure product listings, pricing, availability, and order data stay accurate and in sync everywhere we sell online.
This is primarily a data and systems role - you’re the person who keeps our online presence clean, correct, and running smoothly across channels. You won’t be running SEO campaigns day to day, but you’ll need to understand listing optimization and GEO concepts well enough to work closely with the people who do.
Experience with Fishbowl is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person. What we can’t train is attention to detail, follow-through, and comfort learning new software.
What You’ll Do
- Own product, inventory, and order data in Fishbowl Inventory, keeping records clean and current across every channel
- Manage the day-to-day health of our Amazon and Walmart storefronts - monitoring listings, pricing, inventory availability, and order flow
- Troubleshoot and resolve sync errors, listing mismatches, order exceptions, and inventory discrepancies between our systems and marketplace platforms
- Set up new products for launch: entering items, variants, and channel-specific data so listings go live correctly on every platform
- Coordinate with SEO/listing specialists - sharing data, implementing their recommended changes, and verifying updates went live and rendered correctly
- Track marketplace performance basics: listing health, inventory availability, account health metrics, and order defect rates - flagging anything that needs attention
- Prepare orders for fulfillment within the system (labels, shipping rules, staging) - this is a systems task, not physical packing or shipping
- Help identify opportunities to grow our online presence: new channels, better data practices, and process improvements
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail - this role lives and dies on data accuracy
- Comfortable learning and working daily in business software (ERP systems, marketplace seller dashboards, spreadsheets)
- Solid Excel/spreadsheet skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, working with exports/imports)
- Familiarity with SEO, GEO (generative engine optimization), and product listing optimization as concepts - enough to communicate effectively with specialists
- Organized, self-directed, and reliable with follow-through on multi-step processes
- Clear written communication for coordinating with vendors, contractors, and marketplace platforms
Nice to Have (Not Required - We’ll Train)
- Experience with Fishbowl Inventory, Fishbowl Commerce, or another ERP/inventory system
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central or Walmart Seller Center
- Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms
- Background in order fulfillment, shipping, or logistics administration

About the company
We’re an established importer and distributor of high-demand accessory products - sunglasses and reading glasses, winter hats and gloves, BBQ and cigarette lighters, purses and scarves, and cell phone accessories - sold to independent retailers, regional chains, and wholesalers nationwide. Alongside our traditional wholesale business, online sales are a fast-growing part of how we reach customers: we run active storefronts on Amazon and Walmart, with more marketplace channels on the horizon. As our online presence expands, we need someone who can own the systems and data behind it - keeping our listings accurate, our inventory in sync, and our multi-channel operation running smoothly as we scale.
