Job description
We are looking for a Product Owner with deep experience in Capitation, Value-Based Care (VBC), and Provider Reimbursement. This role will own products supporting capitation payments, provider incentives, attribution, quality programs, and population health analytics while partnering with payer and provider stakeholders. Capitation is a payment model where providers receive a fixed payment per enrolled member rather than being paid per service.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision for Capitation and Value-Based Care platforms.
- Build and prioritize product backlog aligned with business goals.
- Define product roadmap for reimbursement and payment modernization.
- Translate business requirements into user stories.
- Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable healthcare products.
- Analyze payment models and identify automation opportunities.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and release planning.
- Define KPIs for financial performance and provider outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of Product Owner/Product Manager/Business Analyst experience.
- Minimum 4 years of healthcare payer or value-based care experience.
