Job description

We are seeking a hands-on, reliable ITAD Warehouse Associate who takes pride in maintaining a disciplined, organized, and productive operation. In this role, you will play an active, daily part in processing incoming IT assets-from unloading trucks and auditing equipment to wiping drives, testing hardware, and preparing items for resale or recycling., * Receiving & Processing: Unload inbound equipment from company vehicles and freight deliveries. Stage, organize, and move gear efficiently from receiving to audit and final disposition.

  • Asset Auditing & Identification: Perform detailed hardware audits to identify make, model, configuration, and components. Help sort equipment accurately into:
  • Refurbish & resell
  • Bulk resale
  • Individual “one-off” resale (E-commerce listing experience required)
  • Parts value
  • Recycling
  • Data Security & Drive Eradication: Execute secure data destruction procedures using our software, verify drive wipes, maintain documentation, and adhere to strict chain-of-custody standards. Assist with preparing drives for physical destruction with our R2 vendor when required.
  • Technical Testing & Value Recovery: Perform hands-on testing of laptops, desktops, enterprise servers, networking equipment, and storage systems. Identify salvageable components (RAM, CPUs, drives, NICs) and spot high-value items suitable for individual resale.
  • Warehouse Upkeep & Safety: Keep work areas, aisles, and testing stations clean, organized, and free of hazards. Maintain general inventory control and organization across the facility., * Consistently maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Maintaining zero data security errors through strict adherence to wipe procedures.
  • Producing accurate hardware audits and inventory counts.
  • Working efficiently to help the team maximize asset recovery value.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who works with a sense of urgency, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a team-first environment., * Technical Aptitude: Strong familiarity with personal, corporate, and enterprise IT hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco, Lenovo, etc.).

  • Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, ITAD, electronics recycling, or technical assembly environment is preferred.
  • Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy when auditing hardware and managing data security procedures-mistakes in these areas cost time and money.
  • Physical Ability: Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting 50+ lbs regularly throughout the day.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working with a small team in a fast-paced setting., * Microsoft Office: 2 years (Required)
  • Computer hardware: 2 years (Required)

We are a small, tight-knit operation-which means every team member matters. The ITAD Warehouse Associate works throughout the entire 6,000 sq. ft. facility and primarily in the warehouse performing audits of items we receive from clients.
