Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you help advance Aurora’s Online Maps for the Driver, shaping perception solutions in real-time. You will work with the Maps ML team to develop state-of-the-art ML models, verify and validate them, and ensure deployments are production-ready. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across maps, simulation, and safety to deliver reliable online mapping capabilities. This is a mission-driven role focused on safer, more efficient mobility at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and collaborate on perception algorithms for the Aurora Driver * Research and develop advanced ML/deep learning models for perception in diverse scenarios * Develop verification and validation techniques for ML systems * Partner with online maps, simulation, and safety engineers to ensure readiness for operation * Build infrastructure and tests to support go/no-go deployment decisions * Integrate, test, and deploy production-ready ML solutions into the production codebase powering the Aurora Driver Tasks * Excellent software engineering skills in Python and/or C++ * Extensive experience with a deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch) * Extensive experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or related AI fields (industry experience or publications) Key requirements * base salary range with annual bonus * equity compensation * comprehensive benefits * hybrid work environment * in-office 3 days per week * career growth opportunities
