Job description
Experteer Overview Join Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems software team to develop and integrate software for live flight test environments. You will work with GPU-enabled hardware, HPC, and modeling/simulation tools to optimize aircraft technology. The role involves hands-on HW/SW integration and collaboration across projects in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting. Expect exposure to autonomy/AI-ML workflows and a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork. This is an onsite role in Redondo Beach with growth opportunities shaping cutting-edge aerospace software. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, integrate, and test software systems for flight test environments * Collaborate across teams to deliver live flight test software in a GPU/HPC context * Contribute to autonomy algorithms and AI/ML development using C++ and Python * Perform HW/SW integration in lab and demonstration environments * Utilize DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins pipelines) to support software delivery * Support test activities at flight test sites and travel as needed Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM with 2 years of experience (or Master’s with relevant experience) for Engineer Software; or Bachelor’s in CS/STEM with 5 years (or Master’s with 3 years) for Principal Engineer Software * Ability to obtain and maintain US Government clearance and SAP * Proficient in C++ development * Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins pipelines * Proficiency in Python * Experience with Linux and cross-platform build tools Key requirements * flexible work arrangements * learning opportunities * health insurance * group medical, dental and vision coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan
