Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Computer science, or a related field, with minimum 12+ Years of relevant experience
  • The SAP GTS Integration Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end integration between SAP TM, SAP WM/EWM, and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), as well as Interfaces to External Customs Authorities and customs brokers.

SAP Functional Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience as an SAP GTS Consultant, including configuration in at least two of the following areas:

  • Compliance Management
  • Customs Management
  • Preference Management
  • Risk Management

Practical experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP TM and WM/EWM, along with core ERP modules such as SD, MM, LE, and FI in ECC or SAP S/4HANA. Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP GTS implementation or major rollout, ideally including TM/EWM integration and broker connectivity., * Strong understanding of integration technologies and touchpoints, including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, web services, APIs, SAP PI/PO, and other middleware.

  • Ability to design and document functional specifications, integration designs, process flows, test scenarios, and cutover plans.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and logs in GTS, TM, and EWM to analyze end-to-end message flows and system performance.

Domain Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of international trade processes, including import/export operations, Incoterms, customs regimes, trade compliance regulations, sanctioned party screening, and license, origin, and preference rules.
  • Experience working with customs authorities and customs brokers in regulated industries such as industrial manufacturing, high-tech, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or aerospace.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex global supply chains and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with logistics operations, trade compliance teams, IT, external brokers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to work successfully in global, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
