Systems Engineer - Hanover Area

Experteer Overview In this role you will combine technology and product consulting with presales support to drive customer opportunities. You will present complex solutions to customers and partners, lead PoC activities, and design architectures that meet requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to RFI/RFP responses, and participate in virtual account teams. Travel may be required. Pay / Benefits * Provide technology and product consulting for account opportunities * Deliver high-level technical presentations to customers, prospects, and partners * Support RFI/RFP responses and organize PoC activities * Design customer solutions and set PoC success criteria * Collaborate in virtual cross-functional teams and act as a specialist on projects * Participate in customer and partner engagements across domestic and international accounts * Lead or support PoC labs and contribute to solution architecture discussions * Travel as needed to customer sites and events Tasks * Fluent in German and English with excellent presentation skills * Strong pre-sales engineering track record in networking * Solid knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, overlay networking, VPNs, Wi-Fi design, and security * Favorable: cloud technologies, cloud-based network management, compute/network virtualization, SD-WAN, automation scripting and APIs * Ability to work on customer project teams and define PoC success criteria * Willingness to assume a team-lead role when required and develop customer networks * Experience with partners and major accounts; strong in closing deals * Extreme Networks certifications are desirable; other industry certifications are a plus * Hands-on lab experience and ability to support detailed designs Key requirements * Training resources for technical and personal development * Latest technology and equipment at work * Employee Stock Purchase Program (subsidized) * Flex First flexible work model * Generous time-off and recreation time * Employee Assistance programs and support services
