Sr AI Engineer

Experteer Overview In this Lead Software Engineering role, you drive the design and delivery of autonomous AI agents at scale within Morgan Stanley’s Advanced Analytics, ML and Gen AI Platform. You will partner with global teams to prototype, implement, and operationalize GenAI-powered solutions that align with the firm’s cloud adoption and engineering roadmap. You will shape robust, scalable architectures and establish guardrails to ensure agent accuracy and reliability. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity to influence AI capabilities across the business and clients. Compensation / Benefits * Lead the development and deployment of AI agents at scale to accelerate technology and business roadmaps. * Collaborate with cross-functional divisions to align AI solutions and demonstrate feasibility through POCs. * Evaluate and prototype GenAI technologies to improve platform architecture and performance. * Design and operationalize scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing used by AI agents. * Contribute to cloud adoption and engineering roadmap with robust, agile implementations. Tasks * 6+ years building GenAI solutions and scalable agent orchestration. * Proficiency with agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Microsoft AutoGen). * Deep experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning. * Memory and context management expertise, including vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG pipelines. * Tool-calling and API integration for external agent tools with robust error handling. * Expert Python development (FastAPI) with familiarity in Node.js or Go; Docker and Kubernetes experience. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and communicate effectively in a global team.
