Tier 1 Tech Support

• Provide Tier I technical support to end-users via phone, email, Teams, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and escalate problems when necessary.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve issues and manage repairs or replacements.
• Support initial computer setup for new employees and ensure continuous functionality of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals, including phone systems such as Teams and cell phones.

Our client, a leading organization in Solon, is seeking a Tier 1 Tech Support associate to join their team. In this tech support role, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the IT operations at the Solon R&D Site. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization., * Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related field, or IT Certification.

• At least 1 year of hands-on IT/IS experience with relevant system software including Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Office, Adobe Connect, and Microsoft Teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and implementation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in inventory management of hardware and software.
