Experteer Overview In this role you drive the security platform roadmap and hands-on architecture for network security within KPMG’s Digital Nexus team. You’ll assess current network security posture, integrate key technologies with cloud and on-prem infrastructure, and guide cross-functional delivery to high-quality outcomes. You’ll provide senior-level guidance, lead troubleshooting, and mentor the Network team while upholding KPMG’s collaborative culture. This is a chance to shape secure, scalable network capabilities at a global firm. Compensation / Benefits * Help develop and maintain technology architecture roadmaps for network security * Assess current security architecture and plan improvements aligned with best practices * Ensure integration of key technologies (Zscaler, GCP, Palo Alto) with broader infrastructure * Maintain deep knowledge of industry directions and deliver roadmap items on schedule * Provide guidance, ensure process adherence, meet performance and budget targets * Offer last-tier support for operations, including root-cause and preventative analysis * Design system configurations and enforce standards for network environments * Provide training and guidance to Network team members * Lead with integrity and foster a respectful, customer-service driven environment Tasks * Minimum five years experience with Web proxy products (ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (Strata, VM-Series), Panorama, Prisma Access/SaaS security * Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required * Hands-on GCP engineering experience (VPC design, Cloud Armor) and Zscaler engineering (ZIA, ZPA) * Strong background in Network Automation/Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) * Excellent communication; ability to lead, prioritize, and manage multiple projects; strong troubleshooting skills * Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * disability and life insurance * 401(k) plans * personal well-being benefits
