Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform

Experteer Overview As Lead Engineer in the Network Security Platform team, you will shape security architecture and roadmaps to strengthen our cloud and on-prem networks. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security technologies like Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto into our infrastructure. You will translate industry trends into actionable improvements, lead last-tier support, and mentor the Network team. This role offers impact across the technology stack and the chance to contribute to a respected global firm’s security posture. Compensation / Benefits * Assist in developing technology architecture roadmaps and maintain existing roadmaps; evaluate current network security architecture and develop action plans in line with best practices * Ensure technologies (Zscaler, GCP, Palo Alto) integrate effectively with the technical infrastructure * Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions; deliver roadmaped technology and products on schedule and with high quality * Provide guidance to carry out plans, ensure product development process adherence, meet performance and budget targets; offer last-tier support including root cause and preventative analysis * Define system standards, configure network environments, and direct system installation * Provide training and guidance to Network team members * Uphold integrity, professionalism, and a respectful work environment Tasks * Minimum five years of experience with Web proxy products (ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (physical Strata and virtual VM-Series), Panorama management, Prisma Access/SaaS security * Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required * Hands-on GCP engineering experience (VPC design, Cloud Armor) and experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) * Strong background in Network Automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) * Excellent communication and leadership abilities; ability to manage multiple projects and contribute to resource planning * Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * Total Rewards program * medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance * 401(k) plans * personal well-being benefits * paid time off and holidays
