Network Security Technology Director

Experteer Overview Lead the strategy and execution for Enterprise Workforce Access Security, driving modernization from legacy VPN to a Zero Trust architecture. You will oversee globally distributed engineering teams, delivering secure, scalable, and compliant access platforms. Your work enables secure connectivity for employees, contractors, and partners while partnering with cybersecurity, risk, and enterprise architecture to implement Zero Trust. This is a senior, transformative role shaping security posture and technology modernization across the company. Compensation / Benefits * Define strategy, roadmap, and execution for enterprise workforce access security services * Oversee design, delivery, and operations of global secure web proxy, internet access security, and remote access platforms * Lead modernization from VPN to Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions * Partner with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Risk, and Enterprise Architecture to implement Zero Trust strategies * Manage risk programs, compliance initiatives, and security controls for workforce access platforms * Oversee platform availability, resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence * Direct technology investments, budgeting, vendor relationships, and strategic resourcing * Drive large-scale transformation programs and foster innovation across engineering teams * Collaborate with senior technology and business leaders and interface with regulators and auditors * Develop roadmaps aligned to enterprise priorities and security objectives * Cultivate a culture of accountability, talent development, and continuous improvement Tasks * 10+ years of senior technology leadership experience * 4+ years of management or leadership experience * 4+ years leading technology, engineering, infrastructure, or cybersecurity organizations * 5+ years leading large-scale enterprise networking, network security, or workforce access programs * 5+ years’ experience with secure web proxy, remote access, VPN, Zero Trust, and network security technologies Key requirements *
