Network Security Technology Director

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the strategy, engineering, and operations for enterprise workforce access platforms, driving modernization from VPN to Zero Trust architectures. You will oversee global teams delivering secure, scalable, and compliant access services (web proxy, remote access, network segmentation) and partner across cybersecurity, risk, and enterprise architecture to implement Zero Trust. You will shape roadmaps, manage risk and compliance initiatives, and influence senior stakeholders to enable secure employee, contractor, and partner connectivity. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of security, networking, and enterprise transformation. Compensation / Benefits * Define and execute the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for enterprise workforce access security services * Oversee design, delivery, and operations of global secure web proxy, internet access security, and remote access platforms * Lead modernization from legacy VPN to Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) * Partner with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Risk, and Enterprise Architecture teams to implement Zero Trust * Drive network segmentation initiatives to strengthen security and reduce risk * Oversee platform availability, resiliency, scalability, and security * Oversee risk and compliance initiatives and engage with regulators/auditors as needed * Manage technology investments, vendor relationships, and strategic resourcing * Lead large-scale transformation programs and foster innovation across engineering teams * Develop and guide a culture of accountability, talent development, and continuous improvement * Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums when required * Allocate people and financial resources for Workforce Access Security Tasks * 10+ years of senior technology leadership experience * 4+ years of management or leadership experience * 4+ years leading technology engineering, infrastructure, or cybersecurity organizations * 5+ years leading large-scale enterprise networking, network security, or workforce access programs * 5+ years with secure web proxy, remote access, VPN, Zero Trust, and network security technologies Key requirements *
