Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a member of the Mobile Web development team, you will be responsible for building out the platform that receives almost 50% of all user traffic. We are passionate about our users and are driven to build the best mobile experience possible. To that end, we are leveraging the latest and greatest in isomorphic JavaScript to build out our next generation mobile platform. As a senior contributor, you will be responsible for working with product stakeholders in setting technical direction and product vision as well as mentoring your peers.

Requirements

Strong CS fundamentals
5 years of industry experience
Background in C#, ASP.NET, and/or MVC
Radical obsession with user experience
Knowledgeable in building loosely coupled, highly cohesive code
Command of HTML/CSS/JavaScript in a production environment
Have worked in an agile shop with a strong emphasis on rapid prototyping and rigorous A/B testing BONUS POINTS:
Experience with reactive functional programming
Experience in Node.js
Understanding of isomorphic JavaScript, server vs client rendering, progressive rendering, SEO, responsive design, and website performance.
Babel/ES6/Typescript production experience
Active contributor to open source
CSS preprocessors (Less, Sass, whatever)
Previous startup experience
