Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician (Tier 2) to provide onsite deskside technical support in a manufacturing environment. This role involves supporting end users, deploying hardware, upgrading operating systems, and maintaining IT assets while working both at a desk and on the shop floor., * Deploy new computers and replace outdated systems

• Upgrade operating systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11
• Perform computer imaging and configuration
• Decommission and dispose of outdated IT assets
• Provide Tier 2 deskside technical support to end users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Update and maintain asset records in Asset Center
• Follow knowledge base (KB) articles and established procedures for issue resolution
• Maintain documentation, records, and email communications
• Identify operational or process issues and escalate when necessary
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and operational data supporting IT processes, * Are you a US Citizen or GCH? If on Visa please mention the Visa Status

• Cube Hub payroll is Bi-Weekly, we pay every-other-Friday. Are you Comfortable with Bi-Weekly payroll policy?

• Do you have experience deploying or imaging computers and upgrading operating systems (Windows 10 to Windows 11)?
• Are you comfortable providing onsite technical support in a manufacturing/shop floor environment (75% floor work)?
• Are you able to work onsite 1st shift (6:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and travel locally between facilities when required?

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Knowledge of computing and networking fundamentals

• Experience with desktop support and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of computer security policies and best practices
• Experience with:
• PowerShell
• Python (preferred)
• OS imaging and deployment tools

Education & Experience

• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline OR equivalent experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of IT experience preferred
