Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant, you help clients strengthen security operations through scalable Google SecOps, SIEM, and SOAR deployments. You will work with cross-functional teams to enhance monitoring, detection, and response, driving operational efficiency. This role blends hands-on delivery with mentoring, shaping secure, resilient cyber operations at scale. You join Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience practice to tackle high-visibility engagements and contribute to a secure, compliant security posture. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments aligned with regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI DSS) * Lead log ingestion pipeline deployments using data fabric tech (Bindplane, cloud feeds) * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune threat detection content in Google SecOps * Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and integrations for automated ingestion, triage, and response * Build case management within Google SecOps SOAR, support metrics, mentor junior team members, stay current on threats and compliance Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience * 7+ years in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps stack (SIEM, SOAR) * Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Experience with Python for automation * Experience with Gostash or Logstash; ETL pipelines and technologies like Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, Kafka * Willingness to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
