Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview Join Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience practice as a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant to help clients strengthen security operations through scalable Google SecOps, SIEM, and SOAR deployments. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize monitoring, detection, and response workflows, driving operational excellence and threat readiness. You’ll lead technical delivery, mentor teammates, and stay current on evolving threats and compliance trends. This role offers meaningful impact in transforming clients’ security operations at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments * Lead log ingestion pipeline deployments using data fabric tech and integrations (Bindplane, cloud feeds) * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune threat content in Google SecOps * Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and automated data ingestion, alert enrichment, triage, and response * Build case management solutions within Google SecOps SOAR and mentor junior team members Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience * 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps tool stack (SIEM/SOAR) formerly Google Chronicle and Siemplify * Experience with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Experience with Python for automation and integration * Experience with log normalization/parsing tools (Gostash or Logstash) and ETL pipelines (Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, Kafka) * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
