Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you will help clients strengthen cyber operations by designing scalable Google SecOps architectures, deploying SIEM/SOAR, and enabling automated threat detection and response. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring, detection, and operational efficiency while staying current on threats and compliance. You’ll shape secure, resilient security operations for enterprise environments and contribute to large-scale security programs. This senior role offers hands-on delivery, mentorship, and impact across client engagements. Compensation / Benefits * Design secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments aligned with policies and regulatory requirements * Lead log ingestion pipeline deployments using data fabric tech and API integrations (Bindplane, cloud feeds) * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to prioritize and tune threat detection content in Google SecOps * Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and custom integrations for automated ingestion, enrichment, triage, and response * Build case management solutions within Google SecOps SOAR, establish operational metrics, mentor junior team members, and stay updated on threats and compliance trends Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent experience * 7+ years in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps stack (SIEM/SOAR) * Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks * Python automation and integration development experience * Experience with Gostash or Logstash and ETL pipelines with Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, or Kafka * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
