Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview Join Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience practice to help clients fortify security operations at scale. You will design Google SecOps architectures, implement SIEM/SOAR deployments, and lead threat detection engineering in high-visibility engagements. Work with cross-functional teams to automate data ingestion, enrichment, and response, driving operational efficiency and stronger cyber readiness. This role offers meaningful impact on clients’ security posture, using cutting-edge cloud-native SecOps tools and playbooks. Compensation / Benefits * Design and deploy scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR aligned with security policies and regulatory requirements * Lead log ingestion pipelines using data fabric tech and integrations (Bindplane, cloud feeds) * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune threat content in Google SecOps * Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and custom integrations for automated ingestion, enrichment, triage, and response * Build case management in Google SecOps SOAR, mentor juniors, and stay current on threats and compliance Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience * 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps stack (SIEM/SOAR) * Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Experience with Python for automation * Experience with Gostash or Logstash, ETL pipelines, and data fabric/tools like Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, Kafka * Ability to travel 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Travel up to 50% * Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities
