Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview Join Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience team as a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant to help clients navigate an evolving threat landscape with scalable security operations solutions. You will work on Google SecOps, threat detection engineering, and automation to strengthen monitoring, detection, and response. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to deliver secure, efficient cyber operations at scale. You will shape architectures, playbooks, and case management to improve readiness and outcomes for clients. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments * Lead log ingestion pipelines using data fabric tech and API integrations (Bindplane, cloud feeds) * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune Google SecOps threat content * Translate security ops processes into SOAR playbooks and integrations for automated data ingestion, enrichment, triage, and response * Build case management within Google SecOps SOAR, mentor junior members, and stay current on threats and compliance trends Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience * 7+ years in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps stack (SIEM and SOAR) * Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Python automation and integration development experience * Experience with Gostash or Logstash, and ETL pipelines with Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, or Kafka * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
