Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you will help clients strengthen security operations by designing scalable Google SecOps architectures, implementing SIEM/SOAR, and automating threat detection workflows. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring, detection, and incident response, shaping secure, resilient cyber operations at scale. This is a hands-on position with a focus on Google SecOps, threat detection engineering, and automation, offering meaningful impact across client engagements. You’ll join a team dedicated to transforming security operations and improving readiness and resilience. Compensation / Benefits * Design secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM/SOAR deployments * Lead log ingestion pipeline deployments using data fabric technologies and API integrations * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune Google SecOps detection content * Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and integrations * Build case management within Google SecOps SOAR and mentor junior team members Tasks * 7+ years in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud’s SecOps tool stack (SIEM/SOAR) * Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Python automation and integration development * Experience with Gostash or Logstash for log normalization/parsing and ETL pipelines with Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, or Kafka * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
