Cyber AI Data Engineer Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview You will design and operate governed data foundations powering cyber risk, compliance evidence, and AI-enabled cyber workflows. You’ll build scalable data pipelines and data models to support risk reporting, controls monitoring, and AI-assisted security operations with strong governance and auditability. The role bridges data engineering, software development, and GRC in regulated environments, enabling cross-functional collaboration and impactful risk insights. You’ll work with Cyber, Risk, Privacy, and Legal stakeholders to translate requirements into guardrails and reusable assets. Compensation / Benefits * Build scalable batch and stream data pipelines ingesting security telemetry and compliance artifacts into governed data stores * Design data models for risk, controls, and audit evidence; enable self-service analytics and dashboards * Implement data quality, lineage, metadata, and access controls to support auditability and regulatory defensibility * Develop AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate governance, risk, compliance, and cyber operations (e.g., evidence summarization, control testing assist, retrieval-augmented generation) * Engineer integrations between data platforms and enterprise systems using APIs, event patterns, and connectors with production observability and runbooks * Collaborate with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal stakeholders to translate requirements into implementable controls and guardrails Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years in data engineering and software development using Python and SQL * Experience building production data pipelines and data models for batch/stream processing; cloud, containers, IaC, APIs, and secrets management * Experience implementing data governance controls including classification, access controls, encryption, lineage/metadata management * Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance workflows and LLM-enabled applications (retrieval-augmented generation, vector retrieval, tool calling, evaluation/monitoring) * Ability to travel 0-25% and willingness for potential immigration sponsorship * Desirable: consulting/Big 4 experience; Java/Go/JavaScript; integration with ServiceNow GRC, Archer, OneTrust, BigID; operationalizing LLM/MLOps; security certifications Key requirements *
