Cyber AI Data Engineer Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you design and operate governed data foundations powering cyber risk, compliance evidence, and AI-enabled cyber workflows. You will build production-grade pipelines and models that support risk reporting, controls monitoring, and audit-ready evidence with strong governance and lineage. You bridge data engineering with GRC requirements in regulated environments, contributing to scalable, auditable security operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape data-driven cyber defense at scale and implement AI-assisted governance. You will collaborate with cyber, risk, privacy, and legal teams and translate requirements into guardrails for developers. Compensation / Benefits * Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines ingesting security telemetry, control evidence, and compliance artifacts into governed data stores * Design data models for risk and controls domains (KRI, issues, control testing, audit evidence, policy exceptions) and enable self-service analytics and dashboards * Implement data quality checks, lineage, metadata, and access controls to support auditability and defensibility * Develop AI-enabled capabilities for governance, risk, and cyber operations (evidence summarization, control testing assist, policy Q&A, investigation copilots, ticket triage) using agentic patterns and retrieval-augmented generation * Engineer integrations between data platforms, governance workflows, and enterprise systems with observability and runbooks for production support * Partner with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal to translate requirements into implementable controls and guardrails Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years of experience in data engineering and software development using Python and SQL * Experience building production data pipelines and data models for batch/stream processing and cloud deployment * Experience implementing data governance controls (classification, PII handling, least privilège, encryption, secrets management, retention, audit logging, lineage/metadata) * Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance workflows (risk reporting, audit data requests, controls monitoring/testing, compliance metrics) including LLM-enabled apps using retrieval-augmented generation, vector/hybrid retrieval, tool calling, evaluation/monitoring, prompt-injection defenses, and secure access patterns * Ability to travel 0-25% and availability for potential immigration sponsorship * Preferred: consulting/Big 4 experience; Java/Go/JS; integrations with ServiceNow GRC, Archer, OneTrust, BigID; pipelines for SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability, identity, or cloud security posture data; LLM/MLOps operations; security certifications Key requirements *
