Senior, SAP Tax Technology - Global Trade

Experteer Overview In this Senior Consultant role within Deloitte’s SAP Global Trade group, you help clients optimize SAP investments and enable scalable, compliant trade operations in a digital economy. You’ll design future-oriented, technology-enabled business processes and support SAP GTS implementations to drive efficiency and innovation. You work with cross-functional teams on complex global trade projects and contribute to growing the SAP GTS practice. This role blends advisory, design, and hands-on delivery with a focus on tangible business outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Assess current information systems and map gaps against business requirements during workshops * Collaborate with clients to deploy technology solutions for international trade management * Plan compliance and explore automated import/export solutions * Develop functional designs and draft documentation with strong analytical thinking * Support new business processes in global trade, supply chain, and related areas * Deliver and support complex SAP projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment * Share expertise across forums to strengthen Deloitte’s knowledge base * Contribute to the growth of Deloitte’s SAP GTS practice globally Tasks * Minimum 5 years of SAP consulting or industry experience * Experience implementing SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference * Technical or functional lead on at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP implementations * Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 modules: SD, MM, LE * Bachelor’s degree in a related field * Ability to travel up to 10% * Active or willing to obtain professional accreditations (CPA, attorney, Enrolled Agent or equivalent) * Professional certifications related to SAP, customs or project management (e.g., PMP, CSPO, PSCPO, Azure) or vendor certifications appraised by the role * Hybrid work model with 2-3 days in-person collaboration Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Broad range of benefits * Supportive accommodations for disabilities
