Experteer Overview In this role you will develop and qualify flight software that controls our spacecraft and reentry capsule. You will work with a cross-functional team to capture requirements, design, implement, test, and support software for in-space operations. You’ll contribute to reliable system behavior across the mission lifecycle and help scale our orbital capabilities. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape software for spacecraft that expand the economic bounds of humankind. Compensation / Benefits * Develop flight software to control spacecraft, satellite bus, and reentry capsule across all mission phases * Write and maintain C++ software for bare metal, RTOS, or Linux environments on embedded processors * Own software development lifecycle from design to testing and integration * Scope projects with requirements capture and initial design trades for open-ended problems * Ensure quality and performance through verification and validation techniques * Collaborate with team, communicate effectively, and solve problems in a collaborative environment Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or equivalent technical experience in safety critical software * 5+ years of experience in development of spacecraft or similar safety critical software * Proficiency in C++ and solid understanding of language concepts Key requirements * Health & Wellness: employer-paid medical/dental/vision for employees and dependents * Flexible PTO + 12 paid holidays * 6% 401(k) match * Relocation assistance * Parental leave (12 weeks) * Stock options under Equity Incentive Plan
