Job description
Experteer Overview As a Data Engineer in Deloitte’s Cyber team, you will build governed data foundations that power cyber risk, compliance evidence, and AI-enabled workflows. You will design production-grade pipelines and data models to support risk reporting, controls monitoring, and audit-ready evidence. You’ll integrate data platforms with governance and risk workflows, delivering self-service analytics and AI-assisted capabilities. This role combines data engineering with GRC expectations in regulated environments, offering meaningful impact across cyber operations and risk management. Compensation / Benefits * Build scalable batch and streaming pipelines ingesting security telemetry and compliance artifacts * Design data models for risk indicators, issues, controls testing, and audit evidence * Implement data quality, lineage, metadata, and access controls for auditability * Develop AI-enabled capabilities for governance, risk, and cyber operations including evidence summarization and investigation copilots * Engineer integrations between data platforms, GRC workflows, and enterprise systems with observability and runbooks * Partner with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal to translate requirements into guardrails and controls Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years of experience in data engineering and software development using Python and SQL * Experience building production data pipelines and data models for batch and/or stream processing * Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms with containers, IaC, APIs, and secrets management * Experience implementing data governance controls including data classification, encryption, access control, retention, audit logging, and lineage/metadata management * Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance workflows and LLM-enabled applications with retrieval-augmented generation and secure access patterns * Ability to travel 0-25% and willingness to work with clients in various industries Key requirements *
