Senior, SAP Tax Technology - Global Trade

Experteer Overview In this role you help clients maximize SAP investments and enable scalable, compliant global trade processes. You will work within Deloitte’s Global Trade Practice to design and implement SAP solutions that modernize core systems and drive digital trade capabilities. You’ll engage in assessments, design documentation, and hands-on deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tangible business outcomes. This is a growth-focused, client-facing role with opportunities to influence SAP GTS practice development and thought leadership. Compensation / Benefits * Conduct assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps during client workshops * Assess and deploy technology solutions to support international trade management operations * Plan and advise on compliance and explore automated import/export solutions * Develop customized solutions and draft functional design documentation with strong logical thinking and problem solving * Support new business processes in global trade, supply chain, and related areas * Deliver and provide implementation support for complex SAP projects in fast-paced environments * Share expertise across Deloitte to strengthen collective knowledge and resolve client challenges * Contribute to the growth of the SAP GTS practice globally Tasks * Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP consulting or industry experience * Experience implementing one or more SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference) * Technical or functional lead on at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations * Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 modules (SD, MM, LE) * Ability to travel up to 10% and work in a hybrid model * Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business or technology related field * Active accreditations or willingness to obtain (e.g., CPA/attorney/Enrolled Agent or SAP-related certifications) * Prior implementation or support work experience with SAP GTS Key requirements *
