Senior, SAP Tax Technology - Global Trade

Experteer Overview In this role you help clients maximize SAP investments within global trade and digital business processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, compliant trade solutions. You’ll assess current systems, identify gaps, and deploy SAP-led improvements to enable faster, more informed decision-making. You’ll influence projects from design to execution and contribute to Deloitte’s SAP GTS practice growth. Compensation / Benefits * Assess existing information systems to identify gaps between requirements and capabilities during workshops with business users * Collaborate with clients to deploy technology solutions enabling international trade management operations * Plan and deliver compliance and automated import/export solutions * Develop customized solutions and draft functional design documentation with strong analytical skills * Support new business processes in global trade, supply chain, and related areas * Deliver and support complex SAP projects in fast-paced teams * Share expertise and contribute to Deloitte’s collective knowledge through forums * Contribute to growth of the SAP GTS practice globally Tasks * Minimum 5 years’ relevant SAP consulting or industry experience * Experience implementing one or more SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference * Technical or functional leadership on at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations * Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 modules: SD, MM, LE * Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business or technology related field * Ability to travel up to 10% * Active accreditations or willingness to obtain (CPA, attorney, Enrolled Agent, or listed certifications) * Knowledge of export regulations ITAR/EAR (preferred) * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Experience presenting to clients or decision makers * Ability to work in a hybrid model with 2-3 days on-site in the US Key requirements *
