Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead Workday functional implementations and optimizations within the HR Strategy & Technology team, translating business needs into functional designs. You’ll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define scope, drive delivery, and ensure smooth deployment and stabilization. This position supports organizational transformation by enhancing HR capabilities and workforce experience. You will work on high-impact Workday projects and mentor teams, contributing to Deloitte’s mission of delivering value and sustainable outcomes for clients. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Workday functional implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities * Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs and configuration decisions * Facilitate client meetings to align on scope, priorities, and deliverables * Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities * Prepare deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * 4+ years of experience supporting or leading Workday HCM implementation or optimization projects * 4+ years of experience leading workstreams on Workday implementations with knowledge in 2+ HCM areas (e.g., HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, Talent) * Experience participating in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementations * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
