NCIS Systems Administrator | Shift Work | Active Top Secret clearance

Experteer Overview As a Systems Administrator at GDIT, you’ll strengthen NCIS ITD infrastructure in Quantico by administering Windows servers and enabling secure, reliable operations. You will work within a cross-functional team to patch, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise systems while aligning with security standards. You’ll implement and maintain AD/LDAP, scripting, and recovery processes to keep mission-critical services up. This role offers hands-on impact on government-scale IT and opportunities to shape secure, scalable environments. Compensation / Benefits * Administer Windows Server 2016/2019 environments * Manage Windows patching in production * Configure and maintain Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy * Create/manage user accounts and groups in AD/LDAP * Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks * Monitor system performance and resources * Troubleshoot and document issues with applications and hardware across enclaves * Deploy DISA STIGs for system compliance * Coordinate changes and escalate major issues as needed * Provide end-user and contractor IT support and document work in ServiceNow Tasks * Active Top Secret clearance * 5+ years of systems administration experience * General computer/system/network administration and user support background * Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) * Experience with NGEN IT infrastructure and enterprise networks * Administering user accounts and devices in Active Directory * Experience installing configuring and maintaining government-grade applications * Familiarity with support tools and procedures * Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP or CCNA Security * Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or Technical discipline Key requirements * medical plan options * dental plan options * vision plan * 401(k) with company match * paid time off including vacation, sick and personal time * flexible work weeks
