Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead Workday HCM implementations and optimizations within Deloitte’s HR Strategy & Technology team, shaping client HR capabilities to align with business priorities. You’ll translate business needs into functional designs, guide client scope and priorities, and support testing, deployment, and stabilization. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and drive positive workforce outcomes. This role offers opportunities to mentor, lead workstreams, and contribute to transformative HR programs for Fortune 500 or equivalent clients. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Workday functional implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities * Gather requirements and translate into functional designs and configuration decisions * Facilitate client meetings to align on scope, priorities, and deliverables * Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities * Prepare deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * 4+ years of experience supporting or leading Workday HCM implementation or optimization projects * 4+ years of experience leading workstreams in Workday implementations across 2+ HCM areas (e.g., configuration in HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, Talent) * Experience participating in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementations * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available * Preferred: Workday certifications in one or more functional areas * 2+ years mentoring junior staff * Experience leading client workshops and requirements sessions Key requirements *
