Cyber AI Data Engineer Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a hands-on Data Engineer in Deloitte’s Cyber team, you will build governance-focused data foundations for cyber risk, compliance evidence, and AI-enabled workflows. You’ll design production-grade pipelines and data models to support risk reporting, controls monitoring, and audit-ready evidence. You work across Cyber, Risk, and Legal stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, governed solutions in regulated environments. This role blends data engineering with governance and GRC to enable scalable, auditable security operations and AI-assisted capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines ingesting security telemetry, control evidence, and compliance artifacts into governed data stores * Design data models for risk, controls, and audit evidence to enable self-service analytics and dashboards * Implement data quality, lineage, metadata, and access controls to support auditability and regulatory defensibility * Develop AI-enabled capabilities for governance, risk, and cyber operations using agentic patterns and retrieval-augmented generation * Engineer integrations between data platforms, GRC workflows, and enterprise systems with observability and runbooks * Collaborate with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal to translate requirements into guardrails and implementable controls Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years in data engineering and software development using Python and SQL * Experience building production data pipelines and data models for batch/stream processing on cloud platforms * Experience implementing data governance controls (classification, encryption, least-privilege, lineage, etc.) * Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance workflows including risk reporting, audit data requests, and controls monitoring * Experience with LLM-enabled applications, retrieval-augmented generation, and secure access patterns * Ability to travel 0-25% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
