Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and operate governed data foundations for cyber risk and AI-enabled security workflows, enabling risk reporting and audit-ready evidence. You will bridge data engineering with governance, risk, and compliance in regulated environments, building scalable pipelines and AI-assisted capabilities. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into guardrails and repeatable data solutions. This is an opportunity to shape data-driven cyber defense at scale within Deloitte’s cyber team. Compensation / Benefits * Build scalable batch and stream data pipelines ingesting security telemetry, control evidence, and compliance artifacts into governed data stores * Design data models for risk and controls domains, enabling self-service analytics and dashboards * Implement data quality checks, lineage, metadata, and access controls to support auditability and regulatory defensibility * Develop AI-enabled capabilities for governance, risk, compliance, and cyber operations (evidence summarization, control testing assist, policy Q&A, copilots) * Engineer integrations between data platforms, governance workflows, and enterprise systems with observability and runbooks * Collaborate with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal to translate requirements into guardrails and implementable controls Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years in data engineering and software development using Python and SQL * Experience building production data pipelines and data models for batch and/or stream processing on cloud platforms * Experience with data governance controls including data classification, PII handling, encryption, audit logging, and lineage/metadata management * Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance workflows and large language model-enabled applications (RAG, vector retrieval, tool calls, evaluation) * Ability to travel 0-25% and optional immigration sponsorship Key requirements *
