Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this senior consulting role, you design, deploy, and optimize Cisco security solutions to protect enterprise networks while aligning with clients’ business goals. You’ll work within Deloitte’s Cyber team to deliver secure, scalable architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You’ll translate complex security requirements into actionable roadmaps and executive-ready deliverables. This position offers impact across client transformation efforts with a focus on Cisco technologies and security modernization. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and Firepower Management Center (FMC) across physical, virtual, and cloud deployments * Implement and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) including 802.1X NAC, device profiling, guest lifecycle, TrustSec, and integration with identity stores * Configure and tune security features (IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS-based security, Security Intelligence, SSL/TLS decryption) * Deploy Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management across hybrid infra * Develop client-facing security architectures, integrate Cisco with SIEM and automation tools, and provide recommendations aligned to requirements and business objectives * Lead projects or workstreams and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Provide clear guidance to others Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science) * CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification * 5+ years of experience in network security engineering with Cisco technologies * 5+ years deploying Cisco FTD and FMC in enterprise environments (including physical, virtual, and cdFMC) * 5+ years designing/implementing Cisco ISE (distributed nodes, HA, patching, upgrades) * 3+ years with Cisco ISE 802.1X NAC, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and Cisco security features including IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption, and cloud firewall deployments in AWS/Azure/GCP * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program
