Software Development Manager, Analytics and Data Management

Experteer Overview Lead a software engineering team building SpektrBot, an AI-powered conversational data assistant for Amazon Advertising. You will ship core platform components, scale multi-domain integrations, and drive adoption across diverse partner teams. You’ll mentor engineers, set technical direction, and ensure reliable, scalable production systems. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role with a strong focus on ML/AI-driven data access at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Manage and grow a 6+ person SDE team building SpektrBot’s AI platform * Drive execution across parallel workstreams: accuracy, latency, domain expansion, and integrations * Coordinate with 15+ partner teams across 7 VP orgs to onboard datasets and enable integrations * Own engineering excellence: code standards, automated testing, and live-site operations * Lead roadshows and GTM activities to drive adoption and onboard customer teams * Organize sprint planning across multiple concurrent workstreams to sustain velocity * Partner with Applied Scientists and Data Engineers on RAG architectures, embedding pipelines, and SQL generation * Own operational excellence for production systems serving thousands of internal users (on-call, monitoring, incident response) * Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent to foster a high-ownership culture Tasks * 3+ years of engineering management experience * 7+ years of experience working in engineering teams * 3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems * 8+ years leading multi-tier web services development * Knowledge of full SDLC practices: coding standards, reviews, builds, testing, live-site ops * Experience partnering with product or program management teams Key requirements * comprehensive health insurance * 401(k) matching * paid time off * parantal leave * RSUs * sign-on payments
