Senior Test Lead - Contract

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on testing leader with strong C#/.NET experience across test automation, quality engineering and enterprise-scale software delivery. You will work closely with .NET developers, architects and engineering teams to shape the testing strategy, enhance automation frameworks and embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle., * Define and drive the testing strategy across key programmes

• Provide technical leadership for testing within a C#/.NET engineering environment
• Lead and enhance test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices
• Collaborate closely with .NET development, architecture and delivery teams
• Ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC
• Drive continuous improvement across testing processes, tools and frameworks
• Support the delivery of secure, scalable and high-performing applications

• Strong background in test leadership, QA or quality engineering
• Excellent hands-on experience testing applications built using C# and .NET
• Strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including APIs, microservices and distributed systems
• Proven experience designing and developing test automation frameworks using C#/.NET
• Experience with relevant testing tools and frameworks, such as NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow or similar
• Experience delivering complex solutions within large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of API, integration, performance and end-to-end testing
• Excellent understanding of modern testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience integrating automated testing into Agile and CI/CD environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fintech or payments experience would be advantageous
