Job description

I am working with a well-known organisation that is investing heavily in data, analytics and digital transformation. As part of a major programme to modernise its technology landscape, they are building a Microsoft Fabric powered data platform and are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help drive insight-led decision making. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced analyst to work with a wide range of business and commercial data, helping stakeholders understand performance, identify opportunities and make better decisions. You will work closely with business leaders, Data Engineers and BI specialists to develop trusted datasets, build meaningful reporting solutions and deliver actionable insights. Key, * Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and insight requirements

  • Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations in Power BI that support business decision-making
  • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement across the organisation
  • Create and maintain trusted datasets, measures and semantic models within Microsoft Fabric
  • Present insights and recommendations to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support the ongoing development of a data-driven culture through self-service analytics and best practice
  • Contribute to the continued evolution of the organisation’s modern data and analytics platform

Requirements

  • Strong Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query and data modelling
  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with data from multiple systems
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Understanding of data quality, governance and reporting best practice, * MS Fabric
