Microsoft Fabric BI Developer - London (Hybrid) - Microsoft Fabric - Power BI - Finance Reporting - Up to £55,000, We’re working with a highly respected, nationally recognised organisation undergoing a major digital and data transformation. Following a significant investment in Microsoft Fabric, they’re looking for a Microsoft Fabric BI Developer to help shape the future of reporting and analytics across the business.

Having recently implemented Microsoft Fabric as their enterprise data platform, the focus is now on delivering trusted reporting, semantic models and business insights. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a pivotal stage of the programme and play a key role in how data is consumed across the organisation.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Microsoft Fabric and Power BI experience who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, developing finance reporting solutions and building scalable semantic models that support enterprise reporting. You Will Work With

  • Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to deliver enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Existing reporting solutions, migrating and optimising them to leverage Microsoft Fabric data sources and semantic models.
  • Finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, KPIs and business metrics.
  • Power BI semantic models, measures, hierarchies, dimensions and reusable business definitions.
  • Data Engineers and Architects to define reporting-ready datasets within Fabric.
  • Lakehouses, Data Warehouses and Medallion Architecture to support reporting requirements.
  • DAX, Power Query and SQL to develop high-quality reporting solutions.
  • Data validation, reconciliation and governance processes to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • A wide range of business data including finance, commercial, customer and operational datasets.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience working with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience delivering finance reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Experience building Power BI reports and dashboards directly from Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong data modelling skills, including semantic models, star schema design, fact tables and dimensions.
  • Strong Power BI experience, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with multiple data sources.
  • Experience translating business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience with Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and Medallion Architecture would be beneficial., If you have experience with Microsoft Fabric, finance reporting, Power BI and semantic modelling, and you’re looking to play a key role in a major data transformation programme, we’d love to hear from you.
