Job description

Lead design development and support of complex mainframe applications Act as SME for production issues driving root cause analysis and permanent fixes Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance Partner with business architecture QA and infrastructure teams Ensure adherence to client security audit and governance policies Proactively identify stability performance and process improvement opportunities Provide clear communication to senior stakeholders and client leadership

Requirements

6 to 8 years of strong hands on experience in COBOL DB2 JCL and CICS Proven expertise in end to end production support complex abend analysis and root cause resolution Deep understanding of zOS architecture DB2 performance tuning advanced SQL and debugging Strong experience working with ServiceNow and leading incident problem management efforts ITIL certification required or strongly preferred Extensive experience in 24/7 production support environments including primary on call ownership Willingness to lead and support afterhours critical production issues Strong financial services insurance domain experience preferred

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
