Experteer Overview In this role you will provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery for cloud-native software initiatives at a leading financial institution. You will shape architecture, implement high-quality Java-based solutions, and drive modern practices across global teams. You will champion AI-assisted development to boost productivity and code quality while ensuring scalable, secure systems. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and review production-ready software with a hands-on approach. * Lead Java-based development following clean code, TDD, and spec-driven practices. * Promote AI-assisted development to enhance productivity and quality. * Review and influence architecture for scalability, security, and maintainability. * Define engineering standards and best practices with architects and senior engineers. * Design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. * Support DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. * Champion TDD and automated testing across levels; improve test frameworks. * Mentor engineers, provide code reviews and deep technical guidance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Ops) and global colleagues. * Identify risks and propose pragmatic solutions. Tasks * 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on track record. * Deep expertise in Java and modern application frameworks. * Strong experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native development. * Proficiency in TDD, spec-driven/contract-first development, and CI/CD/DevOps practices. * Working knowledge of cloud databases (SQL & NoSQL) and performance tuning. * Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence by example.
