Job description

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting streetworks activities, ensuring permits, notices and records are managed accurately and in line with industry regulations and local authority requirements., * Maintain accurate records of streetworks activities and update internal systems.

  • Run and update daily operational reports.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls and queries.
  • Register, start and close streetworks permits.
  • Ensure permit information is recorded accurately and within required timescales.
  • Provide administrative support to the Streetworks and Operations teams.
  • Assist other departments when required, including providing cover during periods of sickness or annual leave.
  • Support the efficient delivery of utility works through effective permit and documentation management.

Requirements

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Streetworks Administrator to join a busy and growing utilities team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within the utilities and streetworks sector., Essential

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge or experience within the utilities industry.
  • Understanding of streetworks or permit administration processes.
