Job description

Seeking an IT Software Procurement Analyst 2 to support IT software procurement, licensing, contract management, and asset lifecycle activities. This role will work closely with technology, business, legal, security, finance, and vendor stakeholders to manage software acquisitions and renewals from initiation through contract execution and ongoing lifecycle management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of IT software procurement experience, with strong knowledge of SaaS and other enterprise software licensing models, vendor negotiations, SLAs, RFP/RFQ development, and financial analysis. Software License renewal Reviewing New software Contracts with vendors, SLA- Service level agreement- software acquisition End to End IT software Procurement using SAS (Software a service) Some knowledge of Security, Legal Aspects Some knowledge of ERP Tools Required Skills Minimum 3 years of Experience IT software Procurement Preferred Skills

  • IT Asset Lifecycle & Licensing Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, RaaS, and IaaS licensing models. You must understand the difference between per-user, per-core, and consumption-based entitlements to prevent overspending and audit risks. Proficiency in the ISO-9902 Cloud Procurement Framework
  • Strategic Negotiation: Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts. This isn’t just about price; it’s about negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs), data sovereignty clauses, and renewal caps.
  • Technical Project Management: Ability to manage a procurement pipeline as a project. This includes setting milestones, managing stakeholders across departments, and ensuring the procurement timeline aligns with the technical rollout.
  • Complex RFP/RFQ Development: Experience drafting and scoring complex solicitations for enterprise-level IT services, ensuring that the “Statement of Work” (SOW) is technically sound and legally enforceable.
  • Financial & Data Literacy: Ability to conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to justify multi-year technology investments to executive leadership
