Job description
The Junior Digital Project Coordinator supports our consulting team as we manage a complex system remediation for a logistics leader based in Antwerp. This role is essential for keeping project timelines on track and ensuring that our technical deliverables match the financial requirements of the client. It is a fully remote position that requires a high degree of organization and a clear understanding of project documentation. About Alpine Business Consulting Alpine Business Consulting works at the intersection of finance processes and the systems that support them. We specialize in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and analytics, helping finance teams fix platforms that never delivered on their promises. While we build new systems from scratch, much of our work involves remediating existing setups in Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and Power BI. We focus on the numbers side of the house, ensuring that consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, and reporting pipelines reflect how a finance team actually operates. Our approach moves away from typical implementation theatre. We prioritize finance-first configurations and fixed-price engagements, giving our clients certainty before any work begins. We do not believe in keeping clients dependent on us. Instead, we build administrator training and documentation into every project so teams can run their systems independently after go-live. We are a remote-first team of consultants who understand that a dashboard is only useful if the data is accurate to the cent and available the morning a period closes. Whether it is a cloud migration or a complex forecasting model, we value precision over presentation. What You Will Do
- Track project milestones and update internal schedules to ensure the Antwerp logistics project stays within the defined scope.
- Draft and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and technical status reports.
- Coordinate communication between our technical consultants and the client’s finance department to gather necessary data requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of training materials and system manuals that enable clients to manage their EPM platforms after project completion.
- Monitor project logs for risks or delays, flagging potential issues to the lead consultants before they impact the timeline.
- Maintain organized folders for all project deliverables, ensuring versions are correctly tracked and accessible to the remote team.
- Help organize remote workshops and feedback sessions, capturing specific technical requirements for financial reporting pipelines.
- Review project reports for accuracy and formatting before they are sent to the client.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of project management principles or a strong interest in how business systems are implemented.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and the ability to organize data clearly.
- Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on being concise and professional.
- Comfortable working in a 100 percent remote environment and managing your own daily schedule effectively.
- An interest in finance, accounting, or business analytics, even if your experience is limited to university projects or internships.
- High attention to detail when reviewing documents, schedules, and technical requirements.
- Willingness to learn the basics of EPM systems like Oracle or SAP to better support the consulting team.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines and a proactive approach to asking questions when instructions are unclear.
Benefits & conditions
What We Offer
- A fully remote working arrangement that allows for a better balance between work and life.
- Exposure to complex finance and technology projects for large-scale clients like our current Antwerp logistics partner.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard EPM and analytics tools.
- A professional environment where we value honest communication and clear results over long meetings and office politics.
- A structured onboarding process that introduces you to our specific consulting methodology.
- Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry-level role in the project management and consulting market.
- The chance to work in a team that prioritizes technical accuracy and client independence.
How We Work Our firm operates on a foundation of transparency and fixed-price engagements. We do not use vague timelines or open-ended contracts that keep clients guessing. Every project has a clear scope and a defined end point. We believe that a successful project is one where the client no longer needs our help because we have built a system that works and trained their team to use it. This philosophy extends to how we treat our employees: we provide clear expectations and the tools necessary to succeed in a remote setting. We value the quiet work of getting the numbers right and ensuring that every system we touch becomes a reliable asset for the finance teams we serve.
