Full-Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer to join our team. This role involves building and maintaining highly used and critically important cloud-native applications that provide Situational Awareness and Collaboration capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in Java and JavaScript development, along with experience in modern software development practices and cloud technologies. This position requires working within a restricted area., * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and JavaScript.

• Build and enhance Situational Awareness and Collaboration capabilities for critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Implement and work with microservices architecture in cloud environments, specifically Kubernetes.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
• Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and cloud technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Java Spring Boot.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Postgres SQL.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or graduation from an accredited coding bootcamp.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading development teams in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of the Svelte library or Go.
• AWS developer experience.
• Familiarity with WebSockets.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
