Job description

Western Health Advantage (WHA) is seeking a strategic and analytical Data & Analytics Manager to lead enterprise reporting, analytics, and performance monitoring initiatives that support operational and financial decision-making across the organization.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this leadership role is responsible for managing a high-performing analytics team focused on transforming financial, clinical, and operational data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and leadership capabilities to support organizational strategy, improve performance outcomes, and drive data-informed decision-making.

This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop reporting solutions, monitor key performance indicators, optimize workflows, and support strategic initiatives across the organization., * Lead and develop a team responsible for analytics, reporting, and performance tracking initiatives.

  • Support functional area leaders with the development and execution of organizational plans, strategies, and annual budgets.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and cross-functional teams to identify operational improvement opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Provide performance insights and recommendations to support strategic business objectives and KPI achievement.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements and deliver analytics solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Partner with IT and Compliance teams to support data governance, access management, and security standards.
  • Support organization-wide strategic initiatives, special projects, and company-wide business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Effectively present departmental performance updates, analytics findings, and project recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools.
  • Analyze financial, clinical, and operational data to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
  • Support financial tracking, forecasting, and budget variance analysis.
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to address business challenges.
  • Utilize SQL and reporting tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and compliance across reporting environments.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Recommend process improvements and standardization opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data interpretation.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in database reporting, analytics, statistics, financial analysis, or business management.
  • Strong experience using SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience with financial modeling, reporting platforms, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business applications., * 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.
  • Experience within healthcare, managed care, or health plan environments.
  • Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning methodologies.
