Job description
- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to users across the business.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, mail and group policies within a hybrid Microsoft environment.
- Support physical and virtual servers, storage, networking and cloud services.
- Work with technologies including Hyper-V, QNAP, NAKIVO and Wasabi.
- Support VOIP telephony through 3CX and mobile devices through Knox MDM.
- Maintain printers, copiers, workstations and other IT assets.
- Carry out system updates, patching, backups, upgrades and deployments.
- Monitor network and system security, including firewalls, antivirus and endpoint protection.
- Respond to security alerts and investigate incidents.
- Maintain IT asset inventories and technical documentation.
- Get involved in the investigation, design, trial and implementation of new technologies that can improve efficiency and performance.

Requirements
- At least 24 months of IT experience working with Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2022 and Microsoft 365 Cloud environments; or relevant recognised IT certifications.
- Comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and working to deadlines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Organised, flexible and self-motivated.
- Confidence to use their own judgement and expertise when solving problems.
- A desire to continue developing troubleshooting skills while working across a broad range of technologies.
