Front End Developer

Join a team building a brand-new customer-facing experience for a modern media processing platform. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Full Stack Developer with strong React and JavaScript expertise who wants to play a key role in creating a UI from the ground up. You’ll build the React-based frontend, develop the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer, and integrate with APIs that process video, PDFs, images, and other media. The platform runs in a Kubernetes-based environment with automated deployment pipelines and AWS infrastructure., The biggest opportunity here is the chance to build something new rather than simply maintain an existing application. You’ll have significant ownership over the customer experience, helping define how users onboard, submit media-processing jobs, and visualize results. The team is looking for a strong React developer who is comfortable working across the stack and collaborating closely with backend engineers. You’ll build and enhance the React-based frontend for a new customer-facing media processing platform. You’ll develop intuitive experiences for customer onboarding, media submission, job management, and results visualization while creating the Backend-for-Frontend layer needed to connect the UI with existing APIs. You’ll work closely with backend engineers and may occasionally contribute to API development, while also supporting applications running in Kubernetes and AWS environments. The role will involve participating in Agile development, troubleshooting issues, improving application functionality, and collaborating with the broader engineering team to deliver a reliable and intuitive customer experience.

• 1-3 years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React - the most critical skill for this position
• Strong JavaScript development experience
• Experience building customer-facing UI applications
• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs
• Experience with Node.js or Backend-for-Frontend development
• Experience working with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with AWS
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment
