Job description
· Utilizing best practices, establish project milestones and monitor project from concept to close-out.
· Create, review, update and distribute proposed retrofit drawings, Design Review Committee packages, and DD sets.
· Review consultant plans and millwork drawings.
· Communication with project teams including project managers, client managers, and owners.
· Respond to RFIs and coordinate drawing revisions.
Requirements
BDG Architects has an immediate need for an Architecture Associate to work with a national client portfolio within our Program Studio. The candidate must have excellent proficiency in AutoCAD. This is a full-time, entry-level position for a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture Degree., · General knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in an architectural office is preferred.
· Must demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
· Familiarity with building codes and standards is a plus.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and professionally with other team members.
· Ability to accept direction to reach common goals for successful outcomes.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Exceptional problem-solving skills.
· Must value accuracy and thoroughness in all work with strict and careful attention to detail.
· Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and projects.
