Job description
We are seeking a Salesforce QA Tester tto support the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center (MiECC) team at the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB). This role leads test planning, design, and execution for Salesforce applications (Service Cloud & Experience Cloud) while managing end-to-end defect tracking and test suites in Azure DevOps., * Test Strategy & Execution: Design, write, and execute positive/negative test scripts, regression suites, and UAT plans in Azure DevOps for Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- API & Integration Testing: Validate REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools to ensure seamless data flows across platform integrations.
- Agile Collaboration & Defect Tracking: Partner with developers, vendors, and business stakeholders in Agile sprints; log, track, and manage defect lifecycles through resolution.
- Automation & Continuous Integration: Identify automation candidates, build/maintain Selenium or automated test scripts, and integrate tests into CI pipelines.
- Transition & Compliance: Ensure test delivery adheres to State of Michigan (SOM) security standards and lead training plans for transitioning projects to Maintenance & Operations.
Requirements
- Salesforce QA & Testing: 6+ years of dedicated quality assurance experience on enterprise Salesforce platforms.
- Salesforce Service Cloud: 4+ years testing Service Cloud features, sandboxes, flows, Lightning components, and Apex triggers.
- Azure DevOps Test Suite: 4+ years creating test plans, test suites, traceability matrices, and defect boards in Azure DevOps.
- Location Constraint: Must currently live within 90 miles of Lansing, MI, for mandatory Tuesday/Wednesday onsite shifts., * CCaaS / Contact Center: 4+ years of testing experience with NICE CXone or other Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) environments.
- Test Automation & Databases: 1+ year using Selenium (or other automation frameworks) and 1+ year executing SQL queries for data verification.
- Public Sector Context: Prior experience navigating State of Michigan or state/federal government and public health systems.
