Job description
- Provide daily operational support for audiovisual and instructional technology in classrooms, conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event venues.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving projectors, displays, monitors, microphones, speakers, cameras, control systems, presentation equipment, and video conferencing platforms.
- Perform routine system testing, preventative maintenance, and equipment inspections to support reliable operation.
- Complete minor installation and replacement work, including replacing projectors, monitors, cables, and adapters.
- Document service requests, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment changes in the organization s ticketing or inventory systems.
- Provide audiovisual support for events, commencements, conferences, meetings, and executive functions.
- Coordinate with event organizers to confirm technical requirements and respond to issues during events.
- Provide professional technical assistance to faculty, staff, students, guests, and event participants.
- Assist users with classroom technology, presentation systems, conferencing platforms, and basic equipment operation.
- Support departmental technology projects and emergency operations as assigned.
Nice to Have:
- AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist Certification.
- Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or Crestron Manufacturer Certifications.
- Experience supporting audiovisual and instructional technology in a higher education environment.

Requirements
- Enterprise Audiovisual Systems Support experience.
- Experience troubleshooting, installing, operating, and maintaining AV equipment.
- Experience supporting live events, meetings, and classroom technology.
- Experience using a help desk or ticketing system.
- Availability to work scheduled evenings, weekends, holidays, and other non-standard hours., * Associate degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least 2+ years of experience supporting professional or enterprise audiovisual systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements(Due to nature of job, The candidate must have):
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 50 lbs or more.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to walk.
- Ability to bend.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to climb ladders.
